Quandary... We have a major blizzard on the way and I have a bit of a quandary...... We generally give the guys who work for us a pretty healthy chunk of change for a Christmas Present. I went into town and picked up the coins at the bank.... they're laying on the desk right now. I could be back in the Caymens before anyone was the wiser................... |

That's mighty kind of you and JD to think of your "guys" at Christmas. I hope you can get their presents to them after the blizzard moves out of your area. It seems like 80 to 90% of the continent is affected by colder and windier weather right now. Vancouver, Canada airport has been basically closed for the last 24 to 36 hours and people are stuck on planes on the tarmac because there are no gates available for the planes to park at. This airport processes over 70,000 passengers a day this time of year. Strt had an earthquake north of where he lives early this morning. 6.4 magnitude. Near Eureka, CA.

Yes, Bret, I can verify that the picture is of you in the beautiful ocean waters in Puerto Rico. I wish I was there right now. We had a high temperature of -28C today with an overnight low of -37C. Received about 8 cm of snow today. I was out to shovel twice, and will be going out again in a few minutes. I have some electrical work I want to do in the garage, which is heated.

I made ham fried rice for my supper tonight and it was good. Will have enough leftover to get me through the rest of the week. I have to go to the city tomorrow to do some banking. It is going to be rally cold again with wind chill temps in the high -40's. I hope my old yellow taxi van doesn't break down on me. It has a mere 607,000 on the odometer, so it'll be fine.

LOL, is there still time to escape? Probably enough on the desk for both of us if we limit ourselves to 10 drinks per day on the beach!!!!

We rarely get snow where we live in middle Georgia, U.S.A. If we do grass is still poking through.
