Tongue Job...............  I am down to the fine brushes correcting back and forth (depending on drying time ) the Gold and the white. COLOR INSIDE THE LINES!  I caught myself in a Charlie Brown moment holding my tongue "just right" to gild in a corner with the fine brush. |

Cloudy 37 F ... 3 C here Predicting nasty weather for Thr. & Fri. but above freezing so I am not concerned.. set by the fire coloring inside the lines tearing out my blond locks!

You know, once you get the tongue in the right spot the detail painting always goes easier......Can't wait for the finished piece.

Stop pulling out the blond locks and keep focusing on tongue placement, it will be less painful. Unless you start to clench your teeth and bite your tongue, that would be quite painful. Can't wait to see it when you're finished.

You are doing a mighty fine job, Darter. Keep your tongue in position and the job will be over soon......at least before Xmas anyway. LOL! Save your blond locks for another project.

It was -9F here all day, with a bone chilling E wind, making it feel like -20 to -30F. I did walk to the Post Office today and received my first Xmas card. Didn't go over to walk the dog because it was much too cold. I had to crank the furnace and extra notch to make it feel halfway comfortable in the shack. Had spaghetti with hot and spicy meat sauce for supper.
