poor guy....

Our poor mailman had to deliver up to the house today. All my EEbay winnings showed up at once; a new white business shirt, a couple pair of running shoes,, a Confederate banknote, a sweater, some silver coins and some of those BIG Old Pre-decimal Penny coins from NZ, Aussieland, and the UK.... I may need to get a mailbox the size of a washing machine.

My new wall sconce was not with all the other packages

?????????????

Why didn't Canada have those great BIG Penny coins?????

I am happy for you that the mailman took the time to personally deliver all those packages. If that happened in Canada, you would get a card in your mailbox instructing you to go to a mail sorting facility in 3 days to pick it all up yourself.

Canadian coins have always been conservatively sized until the loonie and then the tooney made there appearances. There is talk of a $5 coin. What would we call that? A quinty?

It was very gracious of you to give the mailman a piece of cream pie. Did he eat it before he left?

It is a mostly cloudy 33F day here. 60% snow for tomorrow. I spent most of my morning removing and repairing the inducer fan assembly from my furnace. Got it back up and running without the ticking noise it has had since new. The fan motor mount bolts were loose, causing the fan blade to scrape the housing.

Had a summer sausage/cheese sand with turkey noodle soup for lunch. Now it is time to bark the dog.

IF that card showed up I'd leave a card to either deliver my package or find a new job as I would be reporting him and discussing the situation with my Congressman with his name clearly posted.

American money is so G D BORING! Inflation has rendered the $100 practically worthless! We need $500's and $1,000's With my cash rent I walk into the bank with stacks of $100's ... utterly ridiculous !!!. The $1 coins were flops because the Dems got involved and either put an ugly old hag or a fictitious "Native American" on it. The USA had beautiful Silver Dollars... Get us back to pretty Coins
