DANG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Dang Chemo has me a bit worn down.... Not kept up with regular blog postings. I did purchase a can of Cream Style Corn and made us corn fritters for breakfast so Roger et al; gets the old recipe my grandmother taught me. MUTTs Inc need a revolving door.... they can't decide to be outside watching me do Christmas decorations and load in firewood... OR ... be in the nice warm house napping.

Farm boi; JD is doing "Dirt work" on his "day Off" from up North..

YES !!!! It is a delicious change of p[ace I think Roger will enjoy. Most of the corn we eat was raised in the fencerow then canned and frozen by me.

We had a foggy, cloudy morning and sunny in the afternoon. Temp maxed out at -4c (25F). I was doggy sitting this afternoon and shovelling my disabled neighbor's driveway. Now I'm tired and ready to make some supper.

I love corn fritters and would love to make some, but don't have deep fryer, or enough oil to do it in a regular pot. I'll file the recipe for future use. There is a deep fryer at the Thrift Shop here in the village for $5. I might get that one.

I made apple/cinnamon pancakes for breakfast with 2 bacons, and had 2 left over pancakes with a bowl of of stew for lunch. Pork medallions, spuds, carrots for supper in an hour.

Hope the chemo treatments don't wear you down too badly. Keep your chin up, my friend.

I made us the fritters for breakfast. You don't need "Deep fat" to fry fritters with. I used my nonstick pan with some spray canola. The foreman for the Maple River Ham Steaks,,, almost sounds CANADIAN !!!! oooooo Canada !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GAWD NOW that is stuck in my ,mind like from Hockey Matches!!!!

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS ALREADY? I NEVER PUT UP MY STUFF UNTIL DECEMBER 15 AND LEAVE IT UNTIL EPIHANIE. THE LIGHTS ARE LIT IN TOWN AROUND DECEMBER 5.
It's pretty Commercialized... Also the Weather factor.. We can start getting some pretty nasty snowstorms by December here that screws up getting the objects placed and lights strung out.
