New Drs & Clinic  I am very pleased with my new Drs and the Clinic in Waterloo seems so friendly and helpful. Today went well and my Dr thoroughly explained the need and procedure for administering the Chemo something Iowa City did NOT do.  |

Half of the reason I am so pleased is my Dr took the time to explain the diagnosis, his plan for treatment, and he answered ALL my questions ! The Dr also explained in detail the Chemo process. Iowa City was too busy and/or too important to be bothered answering my questions.

I am so happy for you, Bret. Finally some good and respectful medical advice from Drs who care.

I went to the city today to do some banking and buy some band aids to stop all the bleeding that happens on my hands daily. My old skin is so thin it punctures easily, and because I am taking blood thinner medication, the bleeding does not stop on its own. I have to cap it off with a band aid before it will coagulate. Had an easy day of rest after my marathon garage roof and ceiling repair. My old taxi van is happy to be back inside out of the weather. It was very windy today and will be for the next few days, as a major weather system moves inland from the coast, bringing snow with it snow, possibly copious amounts.

That's great news!! I love it when you find a doctor that actually sits down and explains everything to you. Hard to find those types this day and age.
