Dust Bunny

North Iowa is still in the grips of a drought. Our little creek in the back yard has been dry most of the summer.

You can easily see just how serious this problem is. >

I tried to get a picture of the waterfall area, however, without knowing what the waterfalls consists of prior to this drought nothing avails it's self in the pictures.

That is a serious drought for your area when your dependable creek dries up.

Not to worry about responding to comments, Bret. We understand you are not well and find it hard to keep up.

It's snowing here tonight and my internet is sporadic at best. Satellite TV and cell phones are also fading in and out.

all the joys of "Rural life" ! IF we get "rained out" for a few days .I plan on dusting down the office.... The office looks to have "The Grape's or Wrath" dust bowl inculcated into the decorative scheme and next year's corn crop worn into the carpet.

Wish I could send you some rain- water from Ireland. Very heavy showers here on and off the last few days. Nice and bright here now after a few downpours of rain, very mild for October. .

Unseasonably warm here today near 27 C... A line of clouds coming in that could be some rain but probably not enough to end the drought.

WE HAVE HAD SOME RAIN BUT THE WATER SITUATION IS STILL FAR FROM GREAT. I HOPE BOTH OUR SITUATIONS IMPROVE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
The changing weather patterns will eventually subside going back to normal... it's just getting there that is distressing and disconcerting.
