out bid !!!  Many of you probably know I play on E bay picking up all sorts of items from clothes, to coins, to antiques for the house, HOWEVER,... I am caught up in a bid war which I am loosing on an important historical item that belongs in a museum... or MY House! I won't say in here but it is silver.....  There are times where I wish I could silence that inner voice... that craving.... that irrepressible desire........  Do you ever find yourself torn apart by want vs need ? or am I just being an idiot? |

I think that is a common battle for many of us. I collect art. I love it, I enjoy looking at pieces.

do have an irrepressible desire and craving for only one thing and that is a certain kind of man.....I remember the day, more than 20 years ago, when I spotted such a man and had to talk myself down.....That day when I had to let go of that desire, because acting on it would bring me nothing but embarrassment...acting like a pathetic cougar.....flirting with/salivating over a young hunk........I had to talk myself down several times before my pussy got the message............Other than gorgeous young hunks, there is nothing else I crave so much I have to talk myself down........
