Contracted


My 1PM meeting went very well and I got the job, as well as, a future landscaping project. This adds a few more shekels to the income.

 Good for you for landing the contract, with the prospect of future expansion. You are going to have to find another employee soon, adding to your weekly payroll.

 Kind of a long day. I need to buy a couple quarts of straight 30 weight oil for the JD425 and an oil filter. Didn't go into town for dinner tonight. JD had a steak and I just wanted a burger with onions & cheese. I am not feeling so good and think I will work on the medallions a little bit and if I am able to chat later.

 It was a nice day here. I started the day by shortening the grass, then went to the city to run a few errands and took the neighbor along with. He even bought $50 gas and lunch. Bonus! Came home and changed oil in the old yellow taxi. It was long overdue and really black. Bought some spark plugs for the lawn tractor, but they turned out to be the wrong ones, so have to exchange them next time in town. Also need one more litre of oil for the taxi. It takes 6L and the jugs are only 5L. Did a grease job while I was under the vehicle.

All day I was taking care of 2 dogs, so it was a busy one. It was a cool enough day that we took the dogs with us to the city. They enjoyed that.

You're right on that [point but I am back up and walking here able to hold my own ion the business.

We laid Uncle Bernie to rest this morning. He was just 90. So few of us. We had cake and sandwiches afterwards . Canning a quart of string beans.... in a hot water bath for an hour or so.
