Escaped

I made an appointment to see my Doctor on Friday. He took a blood draw; my red cells coupled with some other vitamin deficiencies lead him to put me in the hospital where they hooked me up to I V s and a couple more shots. This morning (Sunday ) They gave me the option to leave. I am to come back for an MRI. My gall bladder is infected; in the next few days, after this round of medication they will decide whether or not to remove it. I am hideously medicated but will try to catch up on the comments left as soon as my head clears enough to make sense. Thank you for your concerns; Bret in North Iowa.

Our Roxy passed away last night peacefully in her sleep. JD buried her up on Boothill with our other beloved pets.

Well, you don't need a gall bladder......and nowadays they remove it remotely through a tiny hole.....minimally invasive.......good luck.

Hopefully this merry go round of medical issues will soon come to a stop and you can get back to normal. What a blow to top everything ... losing a beloved pet. Condolences.

I thought you might like to know that the picture you posted brought a smile to me with fond memories. My late husband always watched that "Gong Show" with the unknown comic. I thought it was the dumbest show on TV, and he just loved it. Our tastes in programs were polar opposites!

The picture of you wearing a very strange hat made me laugh

It is sad to lose a beloved pet.

Good to hear from you again Bret. I've been worried about you, but assumed that you were in hospital. I'm glad to hear that the Drs are finally getting to the root cause of your serious health problems. I hope you can get fixed up and be better than new.

My condolences on the passing of old Roxy. I guess we all knew her time to join the others in boot hill was near. May she rest in eternal peace.

I'm sure your gal will take care of all the cleaning that needs to be done. You need to rest to get rid of that infection in the gall bladder so the Docs can determine if it is salvageable.

Sorry to hear about Roxy !
I had my gall bladder removed. All they do is a few holes and its done. Trying to rest and not pick up things was harder. Oh, and not eating ice cream or dairy. After a bit I started eating a little bit of dairy at a time. Beware of the backlace gowns though, pervs like to look at asses ! LMAO

Roxy was getting pretty grey around her muzzle before her passing.
