Max & Alex

Max & Alex left this morning and are safely back home. I have a mountain of paperwork to attend to with absolutely no energy to do so. We took the watermelon rind pickles photos I hope to get the recipe posted soon.

Good to hear that M & A are safely back home in Chicago. I bet you all had a really good 4th of July long weekend. I had a very quiet weekend doing a lot of dog walking. On Tuesday, I drove 25 miles to another small town and accessed a food bank so I can have some eats and toiletries for the rest of July.

Hope your Drs can figure out what is wrong with you and get you patched up and good as new. You have a lot of responsibility with all your businesses and farm work. You need to be in tip top shape.

Glad you had a good weekend. Ours was quiet, except Saturday we went to a flea market and I found the cutest little table. Or at least I liked it, and so did Joe so I guess that is what counts.
Hope you get some good answers at the drs.

Company can wear a person down, plus you dealing with your blood loss problem doesn't help. I'm pretty sure you eat plenty of red meat which should help build your iron levels back up, but add some extra vitamin C, I read it helps in retaining that iron.

Get to feeling better.

Sounds as if farm life was one hectic whirlwind of work + fun for a few days with friends Max & Alex. Of magnificent men and their flying machines - I love their mode of transport and am pleased they made it safely home.

Be kind to yourself and Just take care of 'you' for the time being; I would think trying to tackle a pile of paperwork while energy levels are so low would only add to the stress levels. Hope to see you back on your feet before too long : )

I just want to get some sleep after the long hours. Your doggies could be the propulsion for you in a wheelchair.

Dr gave me another transfusion with an anti nausea med tossed in. We just had a downpour here that soaked everything

Alex and I did some rummaging too. Didn't find anything noteworthy for a blog.

Tonight I need to get the payroll done. Our carryout Pizza will just have to suffice. I still keep coming up shy on red blood cells. The added vitamins, iron pills and Vitamin C are not keeping up

When M & A are here we push the envelope of endurance to the max. Max has his pilots license, however, we seldom stray from the midwest avoiding high altitude flights. Start into the pile of paperwork right now.
