Averted... Luckily!  Bloody Revolution has been averted here !  I came home and started helping my gal.... dang near forgetting it was Thursday and I had payroll to do !!!!!!  She got all the cob webs and dust bunnies before our friends Max & Alex get here tomorrow (weather permitting ) |

She came this morning and got started. I told her I might be late getting back if she needed anything just call. Even showed her the "Magic window" with no screen you may shake rugs out of and dump the vacuum thingie out of so you don't have to run downstairs. The Master suit looks perfect and the other bedrooms well appointed.

Your webs of cob and dusty bunnies are things that always reappear, unfortunately. It is good that your cleaning gal got things all tidied up for M & A's weekend visit. I hope the weather cooperates so they can jump in their airplane and fly to your small airport. I know you will have a good time, even if you are "booted" and "walkered".

If I had a big house, I'd get me a house keeper too, but I don't, so I have to do it all myself. I do one room a day instead of the whole house at once, takes about 30 minutes for each room. That's the only way I'd keep up with housework. The kitchen is cleaned everyday because it's always in use. I'm sure your guests will understand that you're not quite up to par yet. This evening I'll be replacing a toilet seat in the guest bathroom. These wild people that come to my house broke it this past weekend.

Oh MY GOSH !! Acrobatics on a toilet seat !!! Who'd ever think that ? The guest suit was once the servants quarters... times changed and we don't have the resources to maintain a permanent staff What? Not even a butler? Times have changed!!

LOL, I don't know what happened, I'm thinking it was my grandson standing on it again. That's what happened the last time the hinge broke. What? Not even a butler? Times have changed!!
