Attention to Details I am one whose Viking Heritage was desecrated by one of those Teutonic Types ! My grandmother must have liked the looks of his "Pickelhaube" TMI off topic .............. OFF GENETICS............ Many of you know about the new Mercedes SLK . I wasn't feeling the best this morning when we woke and I said I'd spring for breakfast in town if he'd drive. It was sprinkling and the cattle were under cover not inclined to eat so we went out to the car. I just happened to glance down the Mercedes Benz emblem is even on the tire valve stem covers!!! Talk about Teutonic attention to detail! |

I'll get around to posting my long drawn out blog I'd planned for last night when I get my brain a bit more refreshed. I still have the pictures.... with ALL the details. I am concerned this crap is a side effect of that damned "Malaria crap" I got down in the Yucatan?

No wonder those cars are so expensive, it's all in the details.

Thank you. I loved my/our Beemer till I managed to total it avoiding a deer at high speed a couple months ago. This is the closest I/we could find within 500 miles of us.

That tire valve cover seems a bit over the top to me. I like a plain old Chev, Ford, Dodge with black valve covers. I was in town today and had a few minutes between appointments. I wandered onto a used car lot to check out a couple used trucks they had. I was looking at a 2018 Ram Longhorn Laramie, 99,000 miles, and they were asking $60,000. You can go to a new car lot and buy a brand new 2022, less optioned Ram truck for under $50,000.

That Mercedes is a pretty good looking automobile; you are lucky to have found it. I'm still driving my $200 yellow taxi with over 400,000 miles on it.
