Attention to Details

I am one whose Viking Heritage was desecrated by one of those Teutonic Types ! My grandmother must have liked the looks of his "Pickelhaube" TMI off topic .............. OFF GENETICS............

Many of you know about the new Mercedes SLK . I wasn't feeling the best this morning when we woke and I said I'd spring for breakfast in town if he'd drive. It was sprinkling and the cattle were under cover not inclined to eat so we went out to the car.

I just happened to glance down the Mercedes Benz emblem is even on the tire valve stem covers!!! Talk about Teutonic attention to detail!

I'll get around to posting my long drawn out blog I'd planned for last night when I get my brain a bit more refreshed. I still have the pictures.... with ALL the details.
I am concerned this crap is a side effect of that damned "Malaria crap" I got down in the Yucatan?

No wonder those cars are so expensive, it's all in the details.

oooo Yes Ma'am... all those engineers gotta be paid to put the logo on the valve stem covers ! I 'd also look into the machinists to fabric them along with the assembly personnel to put them on. It takes me a moment to take the cap off logo or not to check the tire pressure. These people must be paid.

Thank you. I loved my/our Beemer till I managed to total it avoiding a deer at high speed a couple months ago. This is the closest I/we could find within 500 miles of us.

I beg your forgiveness at my excessive self-satisfaction with such an acquisition. We'd worked and saved for the Beemer, this step up at such a reasonable price, neither of us anticipated.

That tire valve cover seems a bit over the top to me. I like a plain old Chev, Ford, Dodge with black valve covers. I was in town today and had a few minutes between appointments. I wandered onto a used car lot to check out a couple used trucks they had. I was looking at a 2018 Ram Longhorn Laramie, 99,000 miles, and they were asking $60,000. You can go to a new car lot and buy a brand new 2022, less optioned Ram truck for under $50,000.

That Mercedes is a pretty good looking automobile; you are lucky to have found it. I'm still driving my $200 yellow taxi with over 400,000 miles on it.

IF I loose one of those Valve stem covers I'll have to mortgage the farm to get a new one!
