Photo Friday... just under the wire... "B"


"B" is for Box... I had an old rough Cedar box that is pretty weathered out.



I'd used it for flowers on my Grandparents graves.



I sealed up the cracks with some latex calking



Added a few more screws to draw it in tighter.



Tossed in some potting soil after setting a few days. For the second "B" of my photobomb I planted Basil in the box so I have freshly snipped herbs for cooking and munching.

 Got the car, Been out driving around after a long chatty meal at the Mongolian Hibachi Bar & Grill. Long drive home and drug out tired. COLD ... 54 F had to take the chill off by starting the fireplace.

The weathered look is exceptional and not easily attained by artificial means. Also fresh Basil is a nice addition to my diet.
