Paroled

I have been IN & OUT of the hospital so much in the last few weeks I feel more like I been paroled as of yesterday at about 4 PM ... It looks like I might just make a full 24 hours at home with JD & MUTTs Inc... I am on "Light Duty" with "Boot" and a walker. The wheel chair is on the main level just in case. MUTTs Inc scatter when I come at them with the dreaded WALKER MACHINE!

For some reason I keep loosing blood somewhere. I keep showing up as a quart low. ... might be why the stunning blue eyes?..... They are planning a "sneak peek" up my tushie for a look around which has me a bit concerned. My dad had colon cancer.... I'll try to post some of the revealing photos!

That "quart low" is a familiar scenario for Joe and I. In fact, it was because of that he fell and broke his leg..... except he was more than a quart low. It has finally been decided that his severe diverticulosis sometimes seeps enough blood to cause the shortage. No one place that can be cauterized, so he was taken off all blood thinners and is on a medication that has helped tremendously. We still check his stool for occult blood every day though, and he gets a blood test every couple months.
I hope they find the source of your problem and fix it.
He walks with a walker and I'm not the steadiest on my feet, so we do not have any pets in the house any more. It's good that yours scatter away from your walker, ours still got underfoot.

Thank you for your thoughts. I sincerely hope you get to the bottom of your blood seepage issues too. Our MUTTs are larger breeds in the 100-150 lbs range and a poke in the rump with a wheel gives them an incentive to take off with a jump ! LOL !

Wish I could help you, my body makes too much blood and I have to donate every other month, if I don't, my heart starts acting up.

Hope they find the problem soon.

You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Joe's cardiac issues are of a nature that he cannot be put to sleep or even twilight for another colonoscopy. It is just a condition we live with and keep a check on his stools. The bleeding is definitely not as bad as it used to be, which was often 200-300 cc of clotted blood at times. After the gastro-doc put him on this medicine, it is pretty much under control, but we still watch for symptoms and have blood work done every couple months. If it gets too low, he gets a transfusion.
Hopefully, when you have the test, they will find the issue and fix it.
