"S" ist fur.......... SPROUT ! I'd just bought a large bag of potatoes before the fever hit and they kinda got away from me. We go through quiet a lot of potatoes from just baked to boiled to those golden hashbrowns for breakfast. You might recall I stuck a few potato "eyes' into a flower pot I had handy just for the heck of it and these are my sprouts thus far... as a "crop report." "S" is also for Spain.. where a week is no where near long enough to take in all the beauty of it's beaches, resorts, museums, palaces, and cathedrals. Framed is a Spanish 2 pesetas banknote from the il-fated "Republic of Spain" of Ernest Hemingway's 'For Whom the Bell Tolls" |

Nice selection of pictures. I recall way back when I read Hemingway's book and enjoyed it so much. Those were the days!

I messed up and sold an old foreign money collection bought at auction along with a WW2 bayonet. I often wish I had it all back, but it is too late now. I still have a stamp collection that I have not looked at in years. This reminds me I should get it out and look through it again.

I buy just a couple of potatoes at a time, and unfortunately I procrastinate using them until they are shriveled and sprouted. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
