BUTTERFINGERED \^!^,

I should have guessed at the breakfast table when the box of Rice Krispies escaped my grasp dumping across the table and onto the floor that I'd been given a pair of invisable Teflon gloves while I slept. The BUTTERFINGER plague continued when unloading the dishwasher...luckily.... unbreakable the silverware container slipped out of my fingers scattering across the floor. It didn't occur to me quite as yet worthy of a photograph.

Dinner planning began... I tried the Progresso Clam Sauce before but thought it needed some extras.

I slivered some carrot, then diced some onion and cabbage into a couple tablespoons of butter to stir fry. If you sliver your veggies I find they have a better chance of getting tangled up with the pasta!

That's when I reached into the cupboard to get the spaghett.. The end of the package had come open and across my shoulder rained down a spray of pasta to the floor...

Once again the Viking Beserker welled up and I wanted to smash something with a hammer.

I cooked the remaining 3/4 of a pound of pasta according to the directions draining it thoroughly before adding the Clam Sauce and an extra can of minced clams. To warm it up I stir fried it with my veggies. Not wanting to temp fate I had JD carry the pan to the table.

Day 5 without a major fever outbreak... but I still have this "car sick" almost dizzy crap.

Maybe it's not butter fingers, but numb fingers from the cold weather? I apologize for laughing, but I've had those kind of days too, and sometimes you just have to laugh.

Darter, I agree with Nileyears. You just have to take your spills in stride and laugh about it tomorrow. I have spilled my share of raw spaghetti on the floor and it is a bitch to clean up. LOL!

Your Viking persistence ended up with a delicious meal. I love anything with pasta in it, and the shrimp sounds like it would be extremely appetizing. I'm sure JD enjoyed it in spite of his ferocious growl. LOL>

I just re-read your recipe and it had clams in it not shrimp. I apologize for my mistake. However, just as appetizing.

I get a bit tired of the "meat & potatoes" diet... so many other things out there.

That's ok Roger... the clams are not biased. I just wish I could trust the live clams around here.

I hate days like that..... just want to climb back into bed, but that's not possible.
You have given me an idea though..... I keep canned crab meat on hand, but had never thought about using it in a pasta dish. I'm not fond of it, but Joe enjoys the crab cakes or a bowl of crab soup. He also likes pasta (don't all Italians?). I'll give this some thought.

I seem to be having butterfingered days more and more often. What I drop the most are my earring backs, down they fall hardly ever to be seen again.

That's another lovely tasty meal there, yum, yum.

I have a bag of slivered veggies in my freezer just waiting for a recipe for inspiration. I never thought of combining them with pasta. Thanks for the great idea! And I hope the butterfingers thing has resolved!

A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!

. When it comes to earring backs just empty your vacuum and do the suspected area till you hear the clatter of it going up the hose...

The Krispies were scarfed up by Mutts Inc before they even hit the floor.
