Quite a bit colder here at -27C (-17F). Wind chill warning out for -40 F/C.

Your winter storm is going to work its way down our way, but we aren't sure how bad it will be. It was 55 and windy when we left the house today, and two hours later it was 35 and windier. Just between the car and the house, it felt like it would knock us over. The winds are out of the N - NW, but changing over to ENE by Thursday, which never bodes well for our weather in the winter.
I hope you get feeling better soon.

The DOOM & GLOOM Winter storm fizzled out on them.. They can't dream up any weather event to grab some headlines.

Years ago, the weatherman just gave predictions and people decided how to prepare. The only "panic" reporting was when there was truly an imminent danger, like a tornado coming down the highway!
Then, I guess to garner viewers, it seemed that doom and gloom, panic weather reporting became more and more prevalent. One station would always say, "Stay tuned here, it could save your life!" I think many people got so used to hearing it all the time, that they no longer pay that much attention. I think it's best to just be prepared, period.

Cheer up and get to feeling better! A good old fashioned hot toddy would make you sweat out that nasty bug, LOL, works for me! So does hot chicken broth, vitamins C, D3, Zinc and colloidal silver.

Our temps were 81 on Saturday, 70 on Sunday, 50's Monday, 40's Tuesday and now it's 24 above, but feels like 11 with the wind chill. Wintry mix is already north of me and almost here! Heading out to feed the horses early with a little extra hay to last them till morning, I don't feel like playing in the icy mix.

MY MOTHER SAID THAT TOO AND AS I GET OLDER, I REALIZE THAT FOR ONCE IN HER LIFE SHE WAS RIGHT.
SO SORRY TO HEAR YOU ARE STILL ON MEDS AND THEY ARE MAKING YOU TIRED. I WILL NOT TELL YOU WE ARE IN THE LOW 60'S TODAY, AROUND 16C.

It causes one to question whether they have a brother Noah in the Used Ark business.
