Cheaters DO Prosper

On occasion "Cheaters do Prosper" For Valentine's breakfast I made sausage gravy with poached eggs for us and MUTTs Inc

I had to cheat using store bought biscuits from a tube.

I should be ashamed of myself for stooping so low....

however,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, guess where carry out dinner is from

I know the pictures are scrounged from the net.... my cellphone pics were fuzzy outta focus... besides I do not have creepy brown stoneware to eat off of. The fever is still with me but not as debilitating as it was.

Haven't you house trained that pet mouse of yours yet? There is nothing worse than having to clean up after a mouse makes mistakes.

Hmmm. I can't say I have ever had the pleasure of eating a mango or little lady finger banana.

MUTTs Inc had theirs devoured about as fast as I could set their bowls down.

I need to do a blog on the "Breakfast Candy" type fruit call Ladyfinger bananas.. They are small with a pinkish skin. They don't ship well nor store for very long... it is kinda like pick and eat that day in the tropics. The fruit is so naturally sweet it is like eating candy.

You seem to have a hearty appetite despite the fever - perhaps it's an indication you're on the mend? Having lived in tropical Queensland, Australia before moving to New Zealand, mangoes and lady finger bananas were fruit I frequently enjoyed. You're right, lady finger bananas are very sweet and tend to remain quite firm even when ripe. I'm sorry your experience with the fruit was unpleasant - here's to a speedy recovery. :- )

Thank you for your wishes. I believe the Lady finger bananas would easily steal the market from the Cavendish if only they could be shipped safer and faster.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH BISCUITS FROM A TUBE? I RATHER LIKED THEM EONS AGO. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THEM HERE, I AM KIND OF SORRY ABOUT THAT.
LOL!!!! Nothing is wrong with tube biscuits outside the fact that biscuits are just so dang easy to make that store bought has a "Lazy" connotation with them

Archer, the problem with biscuits in a can is that by the time they reach almost 7000' in transport they explode ! Scares the crap out of me. I buy the frozen ones. Have too many other things to attend to and the lack of homemade biscuits does not make me lazy !

I have had the tubes explode on me.... NO ONE to clean the puddle left on the kitchen floor...... I will try to post my easy drop biscuit recipe my mom made for so many of my breakfasts growing up.... fresh hot from the over with jelly or buried under sausage gravy.
