A few weeks ago
A few weeks ago, I posted about Mother's Day and cancer. I posted that I started a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society on FB. I do this on FB every few months for a few charities. I heard my friend's sister had stage 3 cancer, I found out today she only has 1 week and has hospice coming. She is my sweet little summer sister ! I'm going to miss her ! I can't begin to tell U how much I hate cancer. Losing so many loved ones, I am getting very depressed.

Hugs - We need to connect on FB - I will support your causes. Sorry about your friend. It happens way too often when we get to a certain age.

i am so sorry. i will keep her in my prayers. i hope cancer can one day be a thing of the past

I found out last week that I have lymphoma myself. Deciding if I want to do the chemo as my quality of life is not the greatest as is. Hope you can remember all the good parts of your relationship

God bless U ! I hope U have someone to keep ur spirits up ! I know quite a few people who did well with chemo. Do what the doctors tell U, rest when U need to and find the strength to kick cancers butt ! Prayers for U and big hugs ! |

SO TERRIBLY SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR FRIEND. I LOST BOTH PARENTS, MY BROTHER AND SEVERAL OF MY LATE HUSBAND'S FAMILY TO CANCER AND HAVE HAD A FEW FRIENDS AND FAMILY THAT HAVE PULLED THROUGH. WE CAN ONLY HOPE THERE WILL BE BETTER CURES AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE VERY VERY SOON.

So sorry to hear this StarCandy. I feel for you, cancer has taken many of my friends and my sister and step sister. You'd think they would have a cure by now with all the money they have received throughout the decades of research. But, they don't, they still use Chemo and radiation.
