 The original patent listed wat bach shows the paper as being dispensed over the top... so technically "Over the Top" is the legal definition of the product.

 It is supposed to be healthier when it's over. Seems it doesn't catch all those horrid little things that live in a bathroom.

Bathrooms are gross to me. Even if it's sparkling clean, they still gross me out.

 I used to always have it under but then discovered it was easier to take off the paper from the roll if it was over the top. Aren't we creatures of habit.
I have a question about toilet lids. Do you all like the toilet seat down when not in use? I am a bit of a fanatic about having the toilet seat down but am sure most folks don't bother with that. To me there is something unsightly about a toilet seat up when not in use.

My toilet lid has to be down. Otherwise, it grosses me out.

But most parents find that since when under the roll does not spin quite as easily, and put it under so the kids might use a little less~~~
