Traditional perogies and cabbage rolls.....  A pierogi is, simply, a filled dumpling. It's made by wrapping a savory or sweet filling—popular fillings include meat, cheese, sauerkraut, potatoes, and fruits—in unleavened noodle dough, then cooking in boiling water or pan-frying.

I have a number of favorites. Red beans and rice is one of them. Prawns and spaghetti is another one. There is something so comforting about these dishes. Growing up my mother's homemade noodles were the bane of my existence.
