That question has been asked many times over the 18 years I've been on this site.

I've gotten used to just scrolling past some~~

The problem with limiting the number of blog posts per person, is that only a handful number of people are posting. Encouraging others to write is like herding cats.

Last January, a couple of bloggers participated in Foto Friday. Even though I posted once or twice a day during that particular weekend, for the next two days no one else wrote anything so it looked as if I was hogging the main page.

I don't think there is any kind of limit, I just read the ones I want to read and pass by the others. BTW, I wonder if the abuse staff took the weekend off?
Another fake name is still sitting there.

It doesn't bother me at all, I read and comment on those that interest me.

Limiting is not a solution it creates a problem.... Encouraging others to join in posting of their thoughts is important to a solution. Personally IF I find time to write of the days events or research a topic import to me to share then two is probably a caseload. MORE Participants in here adds to the creativity, vitality, and diversity of topics to choose from.

BLOGS ... Imagine a shy person being in a room full of people and being ignored. Or a person suffering from very bad depression, not being heard or seen. Sometimes blogs might be someone's light coming from a dark place. Some people bring love, beauty, and lessons in their blogs. We have a choice in what we read and don't read. When U r in a group of people and all they do is argue over stupid crap, what do U do join in ? I would rather pick and choose, than sitting through bs !
AND U can read blogs in comfort....no make up, naked, pj's, or maybe in a room full of people being ignored. Just my opinion ! And U know what they say about opinions ! LOL

If you look at the dates on the side you will see it isn't all in one day, but two or three different days. Besides that, with fewer bloggers posting, we would be looking at the same posts over and over again and at that point, why bother going to the blogs anymore?
