In case you haven't noticed, I do love me some football! High School, College, NFL. I love it all!

peppers was a formidable front line defensive player. he may be the best pure athlete to play for the panthers. there are times i think he may have missed his true athletic calling though. at unc he only played in the later half of the basketball season because of football, and dean sure believed in being in basketball shape before he would play him. it was one game in the ncaa tournament as a senior, with carolina behind, he came in the game. carolina did not win, but peppers showed in that one game what he was capable of on the wooden court. at 6'6", 260-270 lbs, there was no one who could handle him from the other team. they tried different front court players, double teams even. when the ball came to him and he was determined to go to the basket, no one or two, stood a chance of stopping him. practically everything he put up went in, either straight thru the net or off the backboard. if he was around the ball for a rebound, he had it. once he went up for a rebound on the offensive board and stuffed it thru with an authority where everyone on the opposing team simply backed off, turned around and slowly ran to the other end. i would have loved to have seen what he could have done if he were to have been strictly basketball.

Well Caroline it wouldn't be my cup of tea as I am not a football fan and for sure I wouldn't be going to a game. In Canada it is the CFL and the grey cup was last November. The CFL is divided into the east and the west. There are four teams in the east and five teams in the west. There are a lot of Americans that play on our teams. Super Bowl is coming up on February 13th so guess we know what you will be doing on that day.
