Winter is here
A little over a week ago had a dozen robins in the yard. Today, well, to my northern friends -- your snow has arrived. You may pick it at any time.

Thanks, Actually, I do enjoy a little snow, so this is great, but enough for the winter

 HAH...... I'm just taking a break from shovelling the driveway..... about half done!!

I think we got about 5 inches of that white 'chit'~~

Snow only looks pretty if you're on the inside looking out.... and don't need to drive in it. amp;

P.S. *Don't forget to make a snow angel!!!

Last time I tried to make a snow angel it sprouted horns

 PEOPLE HAVE SHORT MEMORIES. WHEN I WAS A KID WAY BACK IN THE 40's AND 50's, WE OFTEN HAD WINTERS WITH LITTLE SNOW AND SOMETIMES TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW 70'S FOR A FEW DAYS IN JANUARY OR FEBRUARY. THEN IT GOT VERY COLD AGAIN WITH MORE SNOW. CLIMATE IS A CYCLE OF MORE-OR-LESS 50 YEARS WITH TWO 25-YEAR CYCLES WITHIN.
I DON'T HAVE SNOW OFTEN HERE ON THE MED COAST BUT CAN SEE IT IN THE MOUNTAINS FROM DOWNTOWN. PRETTY SIGHT AND ZERO SHOVELLING!

 I am so sorry Chuck, but I felt a need to be sharing this year .....lol Don't worry though it soon thaws. The Robins return. The world is again on its spin.

I agree - it was really more me being a little "snarky". I actually do enjoy snow - I think it is pretty and I enjoy it

 I've been looking at the pictures that Joe's brother in VA has posted.... lovely. And the pictures by friends in eastern TN... it's lovely too, but I'm glad it isn't like that here, YET. We used to want to spend the winter months down south or in SC. Health and travel issues prevent that now.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
