Project pictures

It may be the Scottish Heritage on my fathers side, but I am well known to pinch a penny until it bleeds copper. this is a front sun porch in my home. I am doing it up quick so I have a place to work on art projects while completing my studio.
Tin roofing in the ceiling from a barn I was paid to take down a few years back. The ship lap cost me fifty, and I also have two built in book shelves and a ton of trim that came with, oh a chandelier to. The floor is temporary, it is intended as a sub floor. I finished it because it will not be redone in oak for a couple years.
Since these photos were taken, the trim has gone up around all the windows, last coat is on the floors....and things will soon be set up.
Oh...the flooring is scrap...I paid $200 for a truck load, cut it in thirds for the floor and have plenty for other projects.
So this is the kind of silly stuff I get up to.

Having an area that combines a personal living space and professional workspace helps to hone your skills and be more productive! Great job!

Nothing wrong with competitive and thrifty spending for projects. I too go after ON TIME and UNDER BUDGET

TIMES ARE HARD SO PENNY PINCHING IS PERFECTLY NORMAL EVEN FOR PEOPLE OF NON SCOTTISH ORIGIN.

Nice job!

I would love to have a front porch. Maybe a project for next year?
