So it is spoken, So let it be

You ended our friendship,
So as an offering I tossed the jewels into the lake.
An offering and a prayer for peace to come to you
I no longer stand in the way of your happiness
I wish you all the best the world may offer
YOU, ended our friendship.
I have simply respected your wishes.
Good Bye

PS...You now own the sediment in the bottom of the lake for it wears the jewels.....enjoy!

Just to clear confusion.....this was not a romantic break up that left me crushed. This person uses multiple handles and so, one or more will read the message even though many are blocked .

Oh Twilight that is certainly a different way of remembering a former friend. I have a nice friendship ring from a past friend that I rarely wear anymore. I decided to put it in my will and give to my youngest great-niece. Her mom was quite pleased that I am doing that. It is too nice of a ring to throw away. But I am not trying to erase a memory of so many years ago.

This isn't in response to being "hurt" this is in response to a chatter who many years ago had gifted a lovely set of handcrafted jewelry for my birthday,. He has now taken (as complained about by two female chatters) to saying every time I wear the jewelry he OWNS me. Now the only thing wearing his gift is the sediment on the lake or some lucky beach comber, but it is not me. He is doing this as a mental move. I am extremely independent. I live a very happy and blessed life.
Stating he "OWNS" me is his way of poking a stick at a grizzly bear, because the wrath of the grizzly is better than the rejection.
I simply reminded him it was his choice to end the friendship, It was my choice to leave it there.

Sorry, my mistake.

Nobody owns me ! Even if given crowns ! They always know beforehand where the door is ! My way or the highway !
