I bet you are not doing this!

I just uploaded tons of documents for an online school program in our state. My decided rather last moment, that Public School was not cutting it for her. She wanted to be more serious in her studies.
We did our research and found one that has career and college programs, and also allows her to do some public school activities.
We live very close to all her friends and there are still local hangouts to see the at to.
She keeps her grades high, so I told her she could give it a try,

Nope, not doing all that. My daughters already went through college and both have their high paying careers. My granddaughter takes online courses for college and isn't required to have immunization records. Maybe it's a state law?

I have two that have been through college and have great careers, this last one is because the universe must have felt I wasn't ready for a break, my previous youngest graduated the year she was born. I believe it must be a state law on the immunization. Hope your day is wonderful.

How exciting and interesting!!!

My attitude is..... I just want the 'kids' to be happy, healthy, and at some point paying their own bills. I don't care what type of career they choose.

Right....as long as they pay their own way and are happy

My oldest daughter did her Bachelors on line. She will do her Masters in a year or two.

Going to school is pretty invaluable to kids.. It all about learning how to learn..You can't protect them from it....and most kids minds aren't as fragile as their parents believe. Learning school subjects is all well and good.. but learning to overcome the subjects taught in Schools is far more important.
Subjects taught are things you keep learning, until you can know them, so you can forget about learning it . The subjects I'm talk about learning... are things kids never try to learn, or want to learn.. but they last a lifetime.
Parenting is similar.. direct teaching is important, but not as important as parents think.. What a kid learns most from a parent is normally not what a parent is trying to teach them, but what they learn from their parents anyway.
For most kids they never knew they learned it.. but it lasts a lifetime.

I HAVE A FEW DOUBTS ABOUT ON-LINE SCHOOLING AND AM AMAZED SUCH A SCHOOL SHOULD REQUIRE IMMUINISATION RECORDS. I THINK I WOULD PREFER A SECULAR PRIVATE SCHOOL IF THERE WAS ONE NEAR MY HOME. YOUNG PEOPLE NEED TO BE WITH OTHER YOUNG PEOPLE AND NEED SOME COMPETITION TO KEEP GOING.
