Dogs/Husbands

I realized suddenly this morning, that having Rufus (the dog) is very much like being married again.
Rufus requires a lot of care. He is a massive shedder and I am constantly picking up after him. He requires grooming, feeding, walking. You cannot even look as if you are going to move and he will bring you a ball to throw. He is beyond addicted to fetch.
Come near the property and you will be presented with worn out slobbery tennis balls and an anxious mutt.
How does all that relate to having the Ex around. Aside from the constant picking up after, feeding , and grooming....my husband believed himself to be a true blue romeo.
So I find myself yelling to the the same key phrase I often had to with the Ex, "Lay down, no one wants your smelly old balls"

Don't feel bad for him, The Ex laughed as hard at this as I did.

ROFL.... another good chuckle.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Funny one. Made me laugh!

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.
