Gangs in the Hood You really need to meet the neighborhood gang. They are rough and tough, riding bikes up and down the streets, sometimes on the sidewalks, screaming to each other back and forth. Juice box terrorists! This group has to be pre-K maybe the oldest is Kindergarten and they get up early on the weekend. They are outside with the sunrise and the wrens. The older boys are the gangs leaders, they stand across the street from each other and yell....they cannot cross the street until their mom or dad come out. They make me think of those little farm boy pictures. As the sun was rising this morning, I was in stitches. "Hey, hey........can you come over?" "NOOOOOOOOO" " Why?" "MY Parents are sleeping" (I bet not)  This went on about twenty minutes when a deeper booming voice came from an upstairs bedroom window, "Would you just Shut Up and watch cartoons" (Won that bet)Someone woke and escorted the gang from one side to the other, they are screaming and yelling around the swing set now. Content.....for now, with life in The Juice Box Gang. |

SURE LOOKS LIKE THE KIDS ARE STARTING EARLY NOW. WHERE I LIVED, THERE WEREN'T ENOUGH KIDS FOR STUFF LIKE THAT. I WISH THERE HAD BEEN.

Thank God for a normal sounding childhood. Too many children (yes, even at that age) wake up and go immediately into a zombie state playing electronic games. Sounds like a great neighborhood. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
