Summer Nights I am not sure if I should be one to write about summer nights, It is only around 70F/21C. I think some areas would beg for such a cool night. My little spot in the world is always much cooler, a combination of being north and on the lake. It can be a good thing. Tonight's dinner was Italian beef, served with bread rolls and roasted corn. Served au fresco. Kind of nice a quiet dinner with the setting sun. Tomorrow after PT it is back to the porch. Mess that it is, I love all the light from the sliding door, and the amazing view of the backyard. While life seems laid back it is running at rapid speed. I miss everyone in chat. If you happen to read this, tell me how you are doing and how your summer is going in the comments below. |

I have finally become resigned to the fact that I cannot do stuff the way I used to do it...... and it really doesn't matter how much I accomplish, as long as I am pushing forward and making a bit of progress. Some days, just taking care of myself and Joe is all that I do, and that's ok too. That was today. It's 1am and I'm still awake, but heading to bed pretty quickly. Tomorrow is another day, a clean slate, with it's joys and challenges. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I WOULD GIVE HEAVEN AND EARTH FOR 70°F AT NIGHT. WE ARE HAVING A HEAT WAVE AND WHILE IT IS NOT AS HOT HERE ON THE COAST AS INLAND DURING THE DAY, THE TEMPERATES STAY IN THE MID 80's AT NIGHT. HOW GLAD I AM TO HAVE A/C!

I've been too ill to chat long. Last I was in everyone seemed well off. RED in Malta suggests investing in gold & silver. For my 2 cents worth I'd also include rare old coins and colonial issues.
