believe it or not 100% of all pregnancies are not a god given gift. 100% of all unwanted pregnancies are the act of a male that was unable to control himself mentally and physically. Note: Not using the word Man, because men are different. A percentage, but not all of unwanted pregnancies are also caused by females who are unable to control themselves either mentally or physically. Not all sex is consensual. Not all sex is between adults. Not all acts of sex are beautiful things. I do not believe it is right to use abortion as a method of birth control. I do believe there are situations in which it is an unavoidable answer to a difficult problem. Abortion needs to remain legal and safely available, if there is a God so cruel as to speak out against it, then he is no loving God and has forsaken his right to rule heaven and earth. For those using the Bible as a weapon in this debate, reread the parts on God given will and choice, they apply here to. By taking away the right of a woman or to make a decision about her life and her body...you have forsaken your own God. The places that I know of that previously performed abortions also provided counseling, options, assistance, etc. Abortions were provided cleanly in sterile environment. If you make it impossible for this to be available to every person, you deny much needed help. You may also inadvertently cause the deaths of a higher number of unborn and women, because you deny them the counseling and knowledge they need. A woman or going to a black market abortionist is not going to get proper counseling or be advised of options, or even offered time to think. If the 's father wishes to have his in the case of consensual adult acts only. There should be a court procedure and a ruling. The woman (women only) (not or minors) should carry the with compensation for her time and labor, the same rate as a paid surrogate. The father should have sole custody and responsibility upon birth. Might need work but seems fair enough. One right is taken, then another.....sooner or later a world built on reasonable choice and freedom becomes a world built on tyranny. |

This is very true ! I totally agree. I also think that parents need to set an example for the kids trying to act like adults. I don't see how sex education in schools ever work

I don't often comment on abortion ... I'm an old man and it's not my issue. I know what the Bible says about killing and I know something of what the Bible says about hypocrisy. I considered myself pro-life in 2003 and in the context of when George W Bush began killing people in Iraq who were absolutely no threat to us. John Kerry ran for President shortly after Bush's ELECTIVE WAR began and promised to put a stop to it in 2004. I voted for Kerry ... and I considered myself to be pro-life in that context. Republicans, the Christian Right, Conservatives, Republican Media all slammed Kerry 24/7 on television and radio because of his opposition to the Viet Nam War, and Kerry is a Viet Nam Vet. They reelected Bush .. they voted to "stay the course" in Iraq ... and in my estimation they are directly responsible for the deaths of 100,000 Iraqis who never were a threat to us ... war in Iraq was a CHOICE

I FULLY AGREE WITH YOU. ABORTION SHOULD NOT BE A MEANS OF BIRTH CONTROL BUT BIRTH CONTROL HAS TO BE EASILY AVAILABLE TO ALL FEMALES AS WELL AS TO MALES WHO ASK ABOUT IT. TERMINATIONS NEED TO AVAILABLE TOO AND CONTROLLED OTHERWISE THERE WILL BE NUMEROUS DEATHS OWING TO UNSAFE PROCEDURES. THE SUPREME COURT SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF ITSELF.
