The snowman is from the greeting cards that I hand painted, snowmen against Yooper scenery, This one is at the Manistique Channel Lighthouse, /about an 18 minute walk for me, I am spoiled by life!

Definitely the world doesn't change because of a date, but we have always marked changes in our lives by the dates.... a birthday, anniversary, etc. And somehow, the new year always seems to bring a bit of hope. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
