A funny typo to start your day

This morning I was searching online for some new line dances to teach my classes. When I find one that seems interesting I'll review the step sheet which explains all of the steps in the dance in detail. One in particular caught my attention. It's done with two lines facing each other, and at a certain point in the dance the two lines cross and as they are passing by they raise their hands and clap the hands of the dancers coming toward them. But ... There was a typo in the step sheet and instead of "clap each other's hands" it said "lap each other's hands"! I'm still giggling!

A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!

Hi Pearls. Good to see you.
I'm not talented, no gifted with dancing rhythm, so trying to lap or lick the other person's hand would be quite a fancy and impossible dance move for me.
I do remember in the upper grades of grammar school, going to a monthly dance, and my partner and I would try doing all those moves we saw on American Bandstand. One of my favorite dances was the Stroll.

I had to read it twice. For some reason it being a dance thing, I first thought lap (dance).

Glad it made you laugh! Re the person spreading a rumor about the gifted bling .. I just ignore that kind of thing. Helps me stay upbeat.

Good to see you too, MrsJoe! The stroll ... I organized a '50s night a while ago and we did that dance. Lots of fun!

Hi Maudie! I agree about the fun and exercise. I started line dancing in 2015 and have been enjoying it ever since.
