Welcome to Week 39 – M Week: Pearls' Coastal Capers! Featuring: Marina, Mini, Moon MARINA Saquatucket Municipal Marina, Harwich Port MA, May 2021. Saquatucket is a Native American word meaning "at the mouth of the tidal stream”. I remember when I took this photo last spring I saw a huge, interesting boat in dry dock but for some reason I didn't stop to photograph it. I hope to return this year to take more photographs. Maybe I'll do some shopping while I'm there because from what I've read it is the home of the seasonal Seaside Marketplace which offers apparel, art, jewelry, décor, and more. MINI Holiday Hill Mini Golf, June 2021. Mini golf is a big thing in this touristy area, especially along busy Route 28 between Yarmouth and Harwich where there are at least five of them! I enjoy the challenge of navigating slopes, traps, tunnels, and water hazards. That's not to say I'm skilled though. If you see a ball flying off the putting green it's probably mine. lol MOON Misty moonlight through tree branches, taken on the autumnal equinox 2021. I like this photo only because it reminds me of the feeling of peaceful solitude when I step outside my condo and look up into the night sky through the trees. I agree. The one in this photo is pretty comfortable to visit for me as a non-boater because the people who go there are boaters and non-boaters alike. A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!

Nice examples of letter "M", Pearls! My favorite is the bright moon shining through the tree. I took pictures of the moon several times, but was never pleased with the result! Happiness is when what you think, what you say, what you do are in harmony - M. Gandhi

I like the moon peeking through the dark clouds and trees. So many memorable events in my life have been associated with such a moon. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
