Welcome to Week 20: Tour of Cape Cod – T Week! Featuring: Taffy, Tributary, Treasure, Thachers, Tower, Turtle, Tidal, Trees, Trail TAFFY How do you know you're in a seaside town? The local candy store is always well stocked with Salt Water Taffy! Reminds me of vacations at the ocean as a kid and I still can't resist the stuff! lol TRIBUTARY Sesuit Creek is a marshy tributary to Sesuit Harbor. I took this photo from Sesuit Overlook at the north edge of the marina. TREASURE This treasure chest was sponsored by the Cape Cod Five in South Yarmouth. It's another one of Fitzysnowman's amazing works along this year's Sand Sculpture Trail. THATCHER'S In my original photo of Thatcher Park Beach there was not enough contrast between the wooden fence and the sand, and no amount of doctoring with various adjustments would fix it. I almost gave up and then I decided to try this Sahara filter. I'm glad I gave it a try! TOWER Harry Potter fan? You'll recognize these towers as the setting of the Hogwarts School. Another fine example of Fitzysnowman's sculpting talent that I found on the annual trail at Kinlin Grover Real Estate in Yarmouth Port. TURTLE My turtle trinket box. I've always loved hand painted items and this one is extra special because it is on capiz shell. TIDAL Tidal flats just after sunrise at Cold Storage Beach in the Quivet Neck area of South Dennis. TREES I took this photo back in June as I was looking up into the trees from my front steps. Since then I've tried several times to redo it to improve the clarity and I have learned just how challenging it it to get a clear photograph of the moon with the camera in my cell phone. I'm having fun trying though! TRAIL The trail at Cove Road Landing. Very peaceful. Thanks for joining me for “T week” on Cape Cod! A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!

Oh Pearls again you have another lovely display of photos for the letter "T". When I look at your photos it makes me want to travel to that area of yours and visit all these places that you have displayed in your photos. I like the turtle trinket box. Really love your photos.

Thank you for the piece of Taffy to enjoy as we strolled through your photos.  Our state fair always had a few stands that made salt water taffy. It was fun to watch it being pulled, and even more fun to buy a bag of fresh, soft taffy! Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Hi Pearls, at first glance, the soft image of paper wrapped taffies reminded me of a bowl of pastel coloured sweet pea flowers (stemless) - find it hard to shake off. Have never tried saltwater taffy but by your description, I think I could enjoy them Beautiful water scenes as always. I find moon shots tricky too - some have turned out ok but more often not. I sometimes wonder if a tripod would help in regard to delayed shutter speed/faithful image capture. I don't really know enough about cameras and the art of picture taking.
