I haven't been on a motor bike since I was Sixteen. I was getting a ride home from my first job with my workmate Graham, when he went over a large bump in the road and I got thrown into the middle of the road. No, motorbikes aren't for me!

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

I don't blame you, motorcycles are not safe.

Every time I see your two wheel Tuesday posts, I think "It's Tuesday AGAIN?
    Where did the week go?"
I've been a passenger on a motorcycle for short distances, but can't say that it would be something I would enjoy doing. I know many do.
My oldest son always took his with him as he traveled all over the country with his job, and spent his leisure time exploring the areas on it.
I also know a couple in TX, who took theirs on a trailer behind their big camper, even to the get togethers for that internet group. When they had a bit of difficulty riding a regular one, they bout a "trike". She finally stopped riding because of her back discomfort, but he continued several years. He belonged to a "gang" who usually rode together weekly, and always made the long trek from TX to DC for that annual rally.

Time flies when you are having fun! Two more days and we are back to Throwback Thursdays!

Once I relocate I plan to purchase a trailer and a dirt bike, and take the dirt bike with me everywhere I go. I am planning to also get a trike once I get older and unable to ride.

My son-in-law is an avid biker. He and his pals have been on many adventures.

My daughter does not ride at all, but wishes him well.... usually saying, " Have a BLAST!! By the way.... Are your accident & life insurance payments up to date?"

Interesting that the title of your blog is Highway to hell. I watch a show here locally called Highway Thru Hell. It is a true story about crews pulling the big semi's out o ditches when road conditions are really crazy. They are on the Coquihalla highway and in the Fraser Canyon digging out these semis. The fellow who does the show is a semi driver and the show originates in Hope, BC.

I always pay my insurance in full at the beginning of the riding season. All my paperwork is in order in case God forbid anything happen, and my family and primary doctor have copies. So everything is in place. I am also an organ donor.

I chose Highway to Hell from the AC/DC rock band song with the same name.

Ha ha Kofla I knew it was probably something totally different. It was just coincidental that is all.

Now that's what I call a long ride. I can't imagine being on a bike for that length of time. But when it's your passion that makes the pains and aches worthwhile.

There are occasions when I wish I was traveling on my car. When I was in my late 20's I rode from Brooklyn to Phoenix AZ on a motorcycle. But back then I was a lot younger and my body to take the abuse, not anymore.
