You child.... LOL. Oh yes, I definitely remember the twist and other dances from the 50s and 60s. We had two teenage dance shows available to us. American Bandstand and The Hop. Great memories.
Can I still do the twist? I dunno, unless you count the twisting and turning I do when I stand up to get my back, hips, and knees all moving, or when I get dressed.

I was fortunate that mom loved to dance, and tried to teach us how to dance properly. The Twist was easy to do, and Chubby Checker's song was very addictive!

Great old dance and song that . Nothing like the twist to fill up the dance floor at weddings and parties.

THE TWIST WAS BIG OVER HERE BUT I NEVER EVEN TRIED IT. NOT MY THING BUT THERE WAS SOME PRETTY GOOD MUSIC WITH IT.

The Twist was easy to dance, but a bit boring after a while.

I was still a kid when the Twist was popular. I remember really shaking it to the Beach Boys and "Wipe Out!"

As a four year old learning to dance the Twist with my mother, I thought it was a fun dance. .

I loved Band Stand as a kid, I grew up in the country, it was our connection to "real" teenagers. I remember my sisters doing the twist.
