Wonder why that happens

Like you say, the cure is worse than the disease. Cures can cost a lot of money, but we have to get them if we want some comfort from the complaint, don't we? to sum it up, a painless life can be very expensive.

Yeah Kofla our feet are very important to us. If we don't take care of them then we will not be able to get around in life. I have a bunion on my left big toe. It was caused by wearing stupid shoes back in the day when I liked to wear fancy heels and pointed toes to work. But I will not get it removed surgically. It is a very painful surgery and the end result may not be what you anticipated it to be. I have learned to live with it and it does not cause me too much grievance.

Constant pain just wears the body down. I know what it's like when my arthritis flairs up, it's agony.

This made me think of a person my grand daughter told me about last week. He is a middle aged man who was diagnosed with late stage terminal cancer and only given a life expectancy of about 4 months...... but he is undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. It is making him horribly sick all the time. Outside of a miracle, there is no cure, so she wondered why they are putting him through all that. I had no answer for her, other than it is ultimately the patient's choice. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

WALKING LONG DISTANCES IS OUT FOR ME NOW AS I HAVE ARTHRITIS IN BOTH HEELS. WHETHER IT COMES FROM TOO MUCH WALKING IS ANOTHER MATTER BUT FROM SKIING PERHAPS.
