A Palestinian gunman opened fire on tourists at an observation deck atop the Empire State Building in New York, killing a Danish national and wounding visitors from the United States, Argentina, Switzerland, and France before turning the gun on himself. A handwritten note carried by the gunman claimed this was a punishment attack against the "enemies of Palestine."

    Does this qualify as a Palestinian terrorist attack in the United States?

I completely forgot about the Empire State Building case. If the GOP is going to start banning people for one isolated case, then they should start kicking out of the country all those MAGA mob traitors that tried to subvert our democratic elections. Even the new House speaker tried to overturn the 2020 election.

Conflation is the merging of two or more sets of information, texts, ideas or opinions into one, often in error. Conflation is defined as fusing or blending, but is often misunderstood as 'being equal to' - treating two similar but disparate concepts as the same.

I'm not sure about the validity of equating terrorist attack with the elections activities...that's not an 'apples to apples' comparison.

You are probably right, but explain to me why the GOP all of the sudden decide to legislate banning the citizens of one nation, for the action of one person 26 years ago? We are not even at war with Palestine. A lot of Palestinians were born and raised here. All they know is America. Where is the GOP going to send them? That is a draconian legislation. It doesn't makes sense.

 I've never seen Republicans so confused ....

Congressional Republicans think it's their JOB to throw bombs/introduce legislation that will go nowhere but might make Donald Trump's angry ignorant base happy.

The USA has done a hell of a lot of 'damage' to Vladimir Putin's Military lately, yet there's no Republican Legislation banning Russians ... TRUMP'S FRIENDS

What happened on Jan 6th did more damage to the USA in a few hours than Palestinian people have ever done to us ... yet Republicans have introduced NO legislation about it. And it's because they're still shaken in their cowboy boots afraid of a tweet.

I haven't seen any evidence the intent to ban is based upon that isolated case...but, rather, on the recent Hamas attack on Israel.
