I am a laid back, calm, steady per with a quirky sense of humor and laugh a lot. I don't bore folks by complaining, nor do I make demands of other people. I accept other people just as they are, and hope they will cut me the same amount of slack. I'm not out to change anyone and I don't want anyone trying to change me. I don't generate drama and don't care anything about being around people who do. I delight in the simple things in life and would rather be outdoors than inside any time. I love growing flowers, driving down back roads, watching my little dogs playing in the yard or the s going through their daily routines in the pasture beside my house. I like sitting in one of the rocking chairs on my porch listening to the birds and squirrels in the day time and the coyotes and hoot owls at night. I like sitting around a fire at night with a group of friends or nestled down in my living room watching the flames flicker in the fire place. I prefer small groups of people to large ones. Typically I am a very casual per, but can dress up if the situation requires it.
I have had the fortune to have a variety of careers that have allowed me to learn much and experience much, thereby making my life much richer. I have worked with high explosives for industrial use, have helped manufacture ammunition and other ordnance items for military use, I have been a newspaper reporter and photographer, I have been the Administrative Assistant to the warden of a private pri, I have worked for a local Sheriff's Department in several capacities - dispatcher, jailer, designed and assembled data packets for the District Attorney to use for prosecution and handled the confidential paperwork for the investigators relating to open investigations. I designed and implemented a method of readdressing a county so that all structures would have an address compatible with 911 requests for emergency services.
My Ideal Person
The man I hope to find would respect me and be kind to me. I'm not a high maintenance person that has to be entertained, we could just enjoy doing simple things together. His interests don't have to be the same as mine as long as we could both respect our right to be different. A sense of humor is a must, as well as the ability to communicate with each other on any topic, but always with honesty. I am a very affectionate person who appreciates the pleasure to be found in both giving and receiving affection.
