Hello! I separated last year from a long-term marriage I'm currently going through the divorce process; although, I have been "single" for years in an unfulfilled relationship. I am not bitter and acknowledge that divorce is just a process from this point forward. In spite of that, I still have faith in relationships and in love.
My natural personality is that of a moderate introvert but I enjoy and open up to those with whom I feel an interpersonal connection. This is not dependent upon having a romantic connection; rather, it is about interpersonal energy and compatibility.
I am a full-time graduate student; my schedule is flexible and I have a moderate amount of time in my schedule for socializing.
I love wry humor, domestic and global politics (I'm a progressive), business, red wine, delicious food, and helping others. Dogs are OK in my book; I do not own any pets and will never be convinced that your pets are on par with people. People are people and pets are pets.
I am moderately fit; although, I have not been committed to my daily running and biking in the past year or so. If you have a bicycle and would like to ride, that would be fantastic.

My goal in being on this site is to find a brilliant, reliable, clean, available, gentle, and moderately fit social and intimate partner for dating and friendship. You are not required to be a perfectly fit man, as most of us have a little "extra" here and there. But you should be generally conscientious of your health. I do not smoke and I don't care you indulge in Hippie smoke.
I love technology and use it as a primary form of communication. You should be able and willing to chat, text and email (or at least learn how).
I love intimacy but I am very, very discreet and seek quality, not quantity. You should have a healthy intimate appetite and appreciation for romance and sensuality. You should be kind, educated, well groomed, single (separated or divorced) and have a decent sense of humor (think David Letterman, Larry David and Bill Maher). Your desire to learn to dance salsa, ballroom or tango is a plus.
