Last Year's Timing was 51 minutes and 34 Seconds
This Year's Timing was 60 Minutes and 4 Seconds
My Bad! When I came back to West Virginia in June, I didn't want to run because it was too hot in the Summer. Winter came and it was too cold. Oh Well!
In January I joined a Gym and got started again.
Nevertheless, it was an awesome run. West Virginia has a lot more twist, turns and hills so even if I made the run with last years timing, I would have progress.
The Lesson I've learned about set back is to keep moving forward anyway.
Next Month is a 10K Run with a Chocolate Festival Afterwards.
That is positively ecstatic!!!!!

Ready or not, I am running the Celtic Knot 5 K on St. Patrick's Day. I've been lazy since moving back to West Virginia. Summer came and I didn't want to run because it was too hot. Winter Came and I didn't want to run because it was too cold.
I did get some treadmill time in at the Gym. I love the Underwater Treadmill but I doubt if I will get the timing on the road that I did on that treadmill.

One of my favorite pictures - My Shadow in the Monticello Slave Graveyard. It is ironic because there is nothing left to indicate that it was ever a graveyard. Simple Stones marked the places where the mortal remains were planted. Most of those stones are gone. They have returned to the earth in the true sense of the word.
Sally Hemmings who was the Slave Mistress of Thomas Jefferson is buried in the Parking Lot of the Hampton Inn in Charlottesville, Virginia. Her sons owned the property. The Property was sold, resold and resold ad infinitum. There are no remains to retrive. Everything has returned to Earth.

This is the same scene for my Foto Friday Submittion minus the Snow. I will be celebration Spring doing the Celtic Knot Five K Run next week which means I get to practice running in these West Virginia Hills. Yea Haw!

My second husband was a notorious grouch. One evening, my older casually commented. "We need to buy some pastureland."
Why? I asked Josh. "For all of Grumpy's Cows!" he answered.
Everybody started laughing and after that day, Grumpy gets COWS for his birthday, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Ad Infinitum. It's a family tradition.

I am generally not an early riser and because of the hours that I work, the sun is usually setting when I am in the store. Life on Life's Terms
On the other hand there are sunset and sunrise aspects of my life. The Sunset when I left West Virginia and headed for Texas looking for Love. The Sun set on my hopes for Love in Texas so I headed to Nevada not sure what I was looking for. After Nevada, I went to Arkansas where the Sun Rised for my Brother as he headed for the SpiritWorld.
I headed for Virgina - and learned to run at Dawn AND Dusk-
Now I am back in West Virginia.
What does the Sun Shine on this time as it Rises.

West Virginia has been very fortunate this Winter. It's been a mild winter which makes me very happy. We can't be lucky all the time. Earlier this week, I was at work and the Storm arrived. I captured this picture of a Snow Covered "T"ree.

Last year, I decided that I don't have to take down my Charlie Brown X-Mas Tree so I just made it a Holiday Tree. I searched for a Cupid to place on the Tree.
I did not want a Cupid in Diapers. Can you imagine a Deity in Diapers determinine our love lifes. The Best place to search in on the Bay. I was looking for an Elegant and Dignified Cupid.
This Cupid looks like something that would come out of a Botanical Shop. Considering the fact that it came from Florida, that is a good possibility.Elegant, Dignified and Tacky, Cupid decorates My Charlie Brown Valentine's Tree. Next Holiday - President's Day.

at the local Java Shop.
He commented "You are making a BIG Mistake walking away from me."
Yeah Right!!!!
I responded, "My only mistake is when I get INTO these things not when I get out out them.
