Geocaching is a combination treasure hunting and on-line game using a GPS Device. I suppose wondering around the Kroger Parking Lot with a GPS late in the evening can arouse suspicion.
Red Oaks Treasure N 37° 45.988 W 080° 27.986
I was looking for this cache a few day ago. I wrote the coodinates wrong and ended up on the other side of the road.
Nevertheless, I gave it another try at 11 something p.m. This is this time after I get off work and before I pick my up at his job.
The Muggles (Non Geocachers who mess with the caches just because they can) are on the other side of the lot this time.
I was stopped by the local Rent A Cop who asked what I was doing. I nonchalantly advised him that I am just Geocaching.
He doesn't know what the FiretrUCK - Geocaching is.
"You are not one of those homeless riffraff staying on the property," he boomed.
I may be in my WallyWorld Suit but I certainly don't look like a homeless person. What a dummy. I pointed out where my car was and told him I would be gone in 15 minutes.
I found the treasure and left.

Godspeed - Makita the Mutt!!!!

We picked up Makita as a puppy in the Desert when we were on our way to West Virginia from California. I was traveling in a Van with Buffy, Baby, Munchy, and Merlin the Feline Creatures. Makita thought Merlin was his Mama and tried to nurse. He gentle bit her on the ear - telling her to Stop.
We made it to West Virginia. Makita loved the snow but she hated water. I suspect because of her Husky Heritage. Huskeys do not really belong in the Desert.
This summer, it was apparent that she was not long for this world. I was hoping to give her a perfect day and perhaps take her camping. That was not to be. She was dragging her hind legs and at times couldn't even get herself up.
I am usually the one who has to make the decision to take the animal to the Vet - to ease them into that final journey.
I left my Home in West Virginia and what I missed most of all was my Vegetable Garden. My now ex-husband tore it down and let the weeds take over. We now have it mowed down.
My buried Makita in what is now my ex-vegetable Garden. He also revealed that he buried four kittens under my ex-compost pile.
My Vegetable Garden has turned into a Pet Cemetary. I bought a Rose Bush and other Flowers for the Resting Place for Makita's Mortal Remains. I think I am going to turn my ex-vegetable garden - now a Pet Cemetary into a Flower Garden.

Friday - Two Tornados touched down in Greenbrier County. I was cashiering at Wal-Mart at the time. It didn't seem to last that long but it certainly did some major damage.
I observed the debris, falling trees and broken glass in the parking lot. I heard sirens. My thought was - I am not going anywhere until it calms down.
I was texting my who works in towntown Lewisburg. Billy was wanting to go home. The roads to home were blocked. He said he looked out the window of the resturant where he was working. The Sky turned green and he saw a funnel formation. Luckily it did not turn into a full blown tornado.
When I finally headed home, the main roads were blocked so I took the backroads dodging the crazy deer and falling trees.
Billy stayed with a friend in town. He and several guys went to the Friend's Mother's House. She was on Vacation and told them to eat EVERYTHING. There was power and it would all go bad if they didn't.
The power came back on for Wal-Mart on Monday. I didn't go back to work until Tuesday. I had my own situations to deal with at home. I was told that it was worse than Black Friday. It was also extremely busy the rest of this week.
So many people are in dire straits. The biggest need is ICE which gets sold faster than it is delivered and stocked.
We have the National Guards. West Virginians are tough so this too shall pass and Life will be sweet again.

Venus Retrograde - Past Lovers On the Horizon

Venus is in Retrograde until June 27th
I don't want any past lovers. I don't even want any current ones. LOL!
Due to her debilitated state during the conjunction to the Sun, Venus will not affect us in a positive, gentle and loving manner but she will rather test some of us to a high degree. We can expect that old relationships may come back to light and old lovers could reappear. Past events may haunt some people and much resentment may bubble up to the surface. Domestic conflicts should be expected when old structures and patterns are broken up to be rearranged.” per Google Research

When Joe brought the Yellow Haired Ho home and introduced her as my replacement. Before I left I planted Sunflowers all over his yard. Karma can be sooooo much fun, it was not the happily ever after that Joe thought it would be.
Cry a River, Build A Bridge, Get Over It
Now I have Sunflowers growing on MY Side of the Bridge The East Shield Dreamcatcher can represent Male Energy Bah Humbug on that thought!
I am over that bridge, I'm NOT building another one
The East Shield also represent the intellect which I can utilize by reading this Bright Yellow Book. This book can be my escape from WallyWorld and A brand new Career. Yea Haw!

Photo Friday - A Bell In An Uncivilized Town!!!

When my boys were younger, they would comment that no Town is civilized without a McDonald's. We usually lived in the outskirts of the town where there was a McDonald's but Alas, the Town itself had no McDonald's.McDonalds would have compromised the Small Town charm of Ojai, California or even Lewisburg, West Virginia. Once upon a time there was a McDonald's located inside the Wal-Mart in Lewisburg, West Virginia but when they made it into a Super Center - McDonald's went away. There are two McDonalds but both are in the outskirts of the Towns of Lewisburg and White Sulpher Spring. Personally, I think for a town to be truely civilized it needs a Starbucks. Alas- There is No Starbucks anywhere in Greenbrier County. Happily the local McDonald's uncivilized or otherwise cater to the Cyber Crowd and even offers Lattes.
I am not really fond of most Fast Foods but I do LOVE Taco Bell. Yea Haw! They are building a New Taco Bell in Greenbrier County across from Wal-Mart. The Question is Do They Offer Wi-Fi? Do They know how to make Lattes?

“God has a sense of humor. If you don't believe me, tomorrow go to Wal-Mart and just look at people.” - Carlos Mencia quotes
October of 2006, I went fro West Virginia to Texas in search of a Love Connection. I didn't find Love, but I did find
Wal-Mart!!!!!
I've worked in the Bakery at Wal-Marts in Texas and Nevada I worked in the Meat Department at Wal-Mart in Virginia and transfered to Sam's Club in Charlottesville, Virginia where I was a Cashier and worked in Produce. Last year, I tranferred to a Wal-Mart back in West Virginia into Produce and back into Cashiering.
I will be using a Wal-Mart Scholarship to take classes on Grantwriting for a new career and it will be
HASTA LA VISTA!!!!!!!! WALLY WORLD

Day One - Adventure on the Greenbrier River Trail Bike Trek

I certainly learned to appreciate the Mile Markers which start at 80 in Pocahontas County, West Virginia and end at 1 in Greenbrier County West Virginia.
Day One - I made the first section of the Trek. I fell into the patch of poison ivy. Usually the first word that comes out of my mouth in situations like that is the "F" Word.
Some folks do something called LeapFrogging on the Trail. They ride the bike for a section of the trek and climb into the "wussmobile" for the next section.
When I reached the Rest Stop - it was strongly suggested that I take the WussMobile.
The Driver was a Lawyer from Clarksville who had special permission to drive on the trail. It was an awesome way to see the trail. LOL!
When I got off to get back on the bike, my hamstrings started immediately cramping so it was back into to the WussMobile I went.
When we made it back to the Motel, I was in major league pain. Dang! I thought - I will NEVER make it back on that trail. I took some Leg Cramp Medication, climbed in the Jacuzzi, and went to bed early.
I did much better on the trail the next day.
