When I was surfing the net regarding my other marriage posts, I came across some cute wedding cake toppers. I know I'm single but I still found them cute. I hope you do too.
Which one is your favorite? For me, it's a toss up between their loved one being dragged or the last one. She's ready for marriage but he's looking at the clock. He has a golf game to attend and he doesn't want to be late. Ok, I made my decision. I like the last one best.

There's nothing like a great joke, to brighten up the day. It helps when you're depressed, cheers you up if you're not feeling great. It's the best medicine, they say. So, I challenge everyone here to do what Dan does all the time. Let's hear a great joke. I want this post to make people laugh.
I will start with a cartoon. I know you can't put any here unless you're a gold member but hey, it's my post. Ok, I won't cheat. I will put up a joke and a cartoon will be a bonus.

I wanted to know, would you or have you ever cheated on a significant other? Has anyone cheated on you? If you have, would you do it again?
I was thinking that some might not wish to answer this. I understand if you don't. It's up to you.
I always say to my boyfriend, I can't cheat. First of all, I am a Virgo and I was born the year of the dog. That stands for loyalty and faithfulness. Secondly, I'm an upfront person so going around lying to any guy I am in a relationship with, wouldn't work. I would feel weird doing that. I also strongly believe in doing unto others as I want done to me. How could I do that to someone, when I don't want it done to me? The nature of my jobs has made it that I've had more offers than most. So, I've definitely been tested and passed.
Now what I also learned is everything isn't black and white. My boyfriend is a workaholic and I have broken on and off with him because of it. I said to him many times that it does make me see how someone could cheat. I haven't but I could understand how a neglected partner might consider it. In the case of someone not living together, I really believe one should just break off if it gets to the point of WANTING to cheat. When a couple is married or has , it's more complicated.
Besides the cheating aspect, what disturbs me is that someone who cheats is endangering the life of their partner. There are diseases that are not readily detected and some that can be easily discovered during a blood test. Either way, it would be heartbreaking to discover someone not only cheated on you but also gave you a disease.

SHOULD A WOMAN CHANGE HER NAME WHEN SHE GETS MARRIED?

Do you think a woman should keep her name as is, take on her husband's last name, or hyphenate to keep her maiden name and include his? My sister-in-law kept her name but after their were born, she began using my brother's last name. I asked what made her change her mind. She said it felt odd having a different surname from her .
I've never married but I think that I would probably go the hyphen route. I've had my surname for my entire life so it would seem strange not having it. On the other hand, I'd want my husband to know that I love him and want to be part of who he is.
Did you take on your husband's name or one of the other options? Would you do the same thing now?

I've often heard men say how their wives changed after they got married. How true is that? Did you change after you got married? What about your husbands? In what ways did you change if you did?

I will say right now that when I cook something, I do it well. i don't really love cooking. It takes a long time and then it's eaten in a short period. I like good things to last.
Be honest - are you a good cook? Do you like cooking or is it expected of you? What dish are you most famous for making, among your friends and family?

I already know Maisie's choice. "Cats rule", as she stated. So IF you had to pick either a cat or a dog, which would you prefer as a pet? You can't cheat and pick both.  I choose dogs.
