A Soulful Walk So I took my dogs on down to the lake, Oddly they never seem to mind the cold. Just play and putter in the water. wave after wave rolling into shore. while we are all so worried about being disconnected from the outside world, let us take a moment to reconnect with the inner one. Just breath deep the cool crisp air and fill your soul with energy to face these trying times. Remember you do not have to run faster than the bear, you just have to run faster than me......that is not so hard these days. Peace and Prayers for you all. |

Joe and I are taking this home bound pretty much in stride, but then again, we are not people oriented and have to be out and about all the time anyway. Because of his dietary restrictions, we eat out only occasionally, and with our mobility issues, we don't go out shopping or to many places at all. After the death of our best friend, who was also our travel buddy, we have no "vacation" plans anymore. But, with the constant panic news, I've started looking around at the things in nature that I had taken for granted and not really seen lately. Even in our dull flat world here, there is beauty as it awakens to Spring..... but I envy your water view. (but not your colder temperatures!) Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Very nice blog. I haven't been out in almost three weeks, due to lockdown restrictions. At least I can still enjoy the garden and the new buds of life popping up in the soil. Stay safe.
