I don't know. This was back when I was busy, busy, busy, raising a family. News came to us in the newspaper once a day, IF I had time to read it, and usually a couple of times a day on the local TV channel or radio channel. Again, IF I had time or inclination to sit down and watch it.
We were not bombarded by 24 hour a day cable news channels, with "news breaking" hyped up information that is repeated over and over, and supposedly "wise" people, all touting their politically biased opinions at each other.
Perhaps that is why the simpler days of my young adult life seem more and more pleasant all the time..... far less stress, even though we had to work hard to make ends meet and raise our family. There was much love and laughter in our home, and far less TV inspired stress. That is one reason we turn it off, or turn it to old shows like Perry Mason.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
