If I give you the time of day.

IF I GIVE YOU THE TIME OF DAY.

If I give you the time of day
Then I cannot love you in the many years
Nor tell of my love for you in the months
The weeks and days, the minutes or seconds

My love for you is an un-measurable distance
A dimension of cloudy sensations, a joy of love
Which can only be written to a softening

In love, I am the beat of a Songbird’s wings
The thermal uplift of an Eagle’s flight
I am the noise that a drifting snowflake brings
The spirit of a wandering star at night
I am a dawn’s kiss to the lips of rosy day
I am nowhere to somewhere in a ’s eyes
The smile of a buttercup to Butterflies in play
I am the widening eyes to a sweet surprise
I am joy to this world in an embracing
God’s love for mankind and for everything

So, should I give you the time of day
Then how might I love you in that time’s way?
No, love is not to any length of time’s measure
It is an always, ever… A dimension of pleasure.

Good morning, Rocket... I always seem to miss you but, no matter because I have you in my sights now. Ethereal! That's an excellent word for love! You can't see it or taste it. When I think on that, what exactly is love, sort of Ghostly and Gauzy!...lol.
