TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY

Tomorrow starts my mom's radiation so for those that said they'd pray for her, it runs Monday - Friday for 3 weeks in a row. It's for a benign growth to prevent blindness in one eye. She is 89 years old and I have to admit given she had brain surgery 7 years ago, I feel sick they will be doing this to her. Thank you to all that offered their well wishes.

I'm sure that everything will go smoothly.

Just the travelling back and forth each day for three weeks will sure put a strain on your Mother and you.

I sincerely hope so, Rocket. My mom has 3 of us so we are taking turns. My mom can't take turns so I am concerned about the strain on her. Thanks for caring what happens.

I want my mother to get all the prayers she can get. That is why I put up these posts. It's great that so many nice people here are praying for her.

Hi Elaine: I hope your mother will get through her radiation treatments o.k. The radiation technicians are incredibly kind to the patients. Will your mother be wearing a mask to restrain her head during the treatments? Please let us know how it goes Elaine and try not to worry too much. Your mother is sure lucky to have a caring family to help her through this.

Thank you, bijou. We are taking turns going with my mother so right now, my sister is on the way to the hospital with her. I am trying to be distracted but that's hard to do. Yes, they did make a mask for her in a prior visit. I don't really understand how that works but as you said, it is supposed to keep her head steady. Thanks for your concern. I can't tell you how much all the nice things you and others here have said, means to me. A big thank you.
