WHERE WOULD YOUR TRIP-OF-A-LIFETIME TAKE YOU?

As I'm sure most of you already know, I had my dream trip in May 2014. We went to Paris, Barcelona, a Mediterranean cruise and London. We were away for 25 days and had a great time. I went with my sister and that made it all the more special.

Where would you go for your trip-of-a-lifetime?

Hi Elaine...I don't know if this is a trip of a lifetime but I would like to do the round trip cruise from Vancouver to Hawaii. It is a 15 night cruise and this year it takes place from September 19 - October 4th. You are at sea for 6 nights and you spend one day each at Honolulu, Kauai, Maui and Hilo. Spend another 6 nights at sea on the way back to Vancouver. This all takes place on the Star Princess. It probably will not be this year but possibly the next year. One can always dream can't they.

Of course you can, Shataun03. Hopefully next year we'll see great pictures from that trip.

I'm in 'Lulu's boat' as far as travel goes, I dont mind luxury, but much prefer roughing it and living with the locals. In my teens I cruised motor bikes up and down the East Coast of Oz, in my early 20's I cruised the East Australian coast for 13 months in a 33' boat I fixed up. Later went and back and lived on an island in the Barrier Reef working on a Research Station as a boatman and diving officer. Then back packed the States for 6 months hitching, bus, borrowed a car etc. Did a few trips to Fiji, met my wife there (now ex ... sigh) but overall I really had a good time. I now 4w drive when I can around the country. Bucket list? Hmm, New Zealand, States again (Loved it) and British Isles, especially Ireland.

Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.

It would take me back to my hometown in England for another visit. I love to get back there and just walk around the places I used to live and enjoy.

Alfie...

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Toronto is great but there's a whole world out there. I loved Europe. Thanks for your cute comment, tahasan.

I didn't know you were born in England, Alfie. I'm sure being there would bring back wonderful memories. I hope you get to go there soon. Thanks for your comment.

Wow Alpha that is a long cruise. You and Shirley will have a great time. Sounds like something that I would like to do. But you need a partner to go with and none on my horizon

Helen is lucky to have such a nice guy. Then again, you're also lucky to have such a sweet gal. I hope you have a great time together in your travels. Thanks for your comment, Bill.
