Elaine I just sent an email to my old boss as he is Irish. I attached a funny little picture and a limerick. He always dressed up in his green Irish garb on March 17th. Quite often we would decorate the office in green. One year he had a surprise visit from a fellow from a Irish pipe band come into the office and play a few tunes for him. He was as pleased as punch for that. I am not Irish but have gone out a number of times around this date in past years and celebrated the day by drinking green beer.

Elaine I think most people have a little corner of Irish in their heritage somewhere. You are probably Scottish with that red hair. No Irish in my heritage. I am German and possibly Austrian. My ancestors go back 6 generations. I cannot even Sprechen Sie Deutsch.

Happy St Patrick's Day Elaine; a lovely set of pictures. It's a nice morning here in Dublin and looking good for the parade. Unfortunately I have a sore throat and swollen glands so I'm lying low. I will watch the parade on the telly.
